GENERAL: 1994 6-sp., Targa top, red, tan leather, fresh paint, 125k miles (don't let odometer scare you, the car is in great shape). Condition of interior and exterior are excellent. All work listed was completed between 1999 and 2001. | ENGINE: Fresh rebuild by Xcessive Performance less than 2000 miles on motor and less than 10,000 miles on drivetrain. Crower billet steel rods, JE forged aluminum pistons. Block was hot tanked, deburred and Magnafluxed, crank was Magnafluxed to ensure reliability. Blocked bored to 87 mm, decked and o-ringed. ARP hardware plus UPRD girdles for mains. Rotating assembly balanced and blueprinted. Piston crowns and skirts were coated by Swain Tech.
Head work was done by West Coast Cylinder Head (flow sheets available). Head was port and polished with multi-angle valve job, custom valve springs (capable of 35#'s of boost) to reduce float. Combustion chambers were slightly reshaped and head was decked. Valve facings and top of combustion chamber were coated by Swain Tech. Head also has 264 degree cams by HKS (Japanese spec.) and AEM adjustable cam sprockets. ARP head studs and factory metal head gasket are being used.
New water pump (stock), new oil pump (stock but modified), and all new seals throughout. Custom intake manifold by Pro Rally which has been flowbenched to verify even distribution. New radiator hoses, and new belts have been installed. External catch tank for crankcase ventilation installed. New Optima red top battery relocated to trunk area.
HKS T-51R (SPL version) turbo kit with HKS GT header and GT wastegate. This turbo kit was Japanese issue only until recently. This car is the only T-51R SPL kit installed in the USA on a supra. Header and turbine housing have been ceramic coated by Swain Tech. HKS GT front mount intercooler with 85mm dia. piping plus two HKS SSBOV's installed. | FUEL: Dual in-tank stock Toyota pumps (both new) with independent -6 ss braided lines, fuel filters, feeding opposite ends of the fuel rail. 950cc injectors balanced and blueprinted by RC Engineering (flow sheets available), Powerhouse Racing fuel rail, Paxton adjustable fuel pressure regulator with in cabin fuel pressure gauge. Direct port NOS kit jetted to 120 hp with remote bottle valve, bottle heater, bottle blanket, Hobbs switch (plus bypass), single fogger, full throttle activation. | ELECTRONICS: Greddy peak/hold boost gauge
Greddy peak/hold EGT gauge
Greddy fuel pressure gauge
Greddy Profec A boost controller, with remote control high/low boost switch.
HKS VPC
Apex ITC timing controller Field's Hyper fuel controller
G-Force Computer with custom made chips for this application
B&M Ignition Amplifier
| BRAKES/CHASSIS: Cross drilled rotors cadmium plated, TRD HPz brake pads, Motul brake fluid and Earl's stainless steel lines. Eibach lowering springs and new stock Toyota shocks. Greddy front strut tower brace and Cusco rear strut tower brace. TRD front and rear sway bars. New wheel bearings all the way around. New ABS sensors all the way around. Greddy Power Extreme exhaust plus custom 3" downpipe. Very slightly used transmission, driveshaft and rear end out of a 98 supra with less than 10,000 miles total use. RPS stage 3 clutch. Basically, everything that moves on the car has been replaced with either new or slightly used parts. Volk Racing 18" factory chrome plated Winnings. Only two sets of chrome in US (per Volk Racing of Japan). Bridgestone SO2's. Sparco Super Sport Racing Seats with lumbar support and Shroth 4-pt. Racing harnesses. Autopower roll cage.
| PERFORMANCE: The car has only been to the track once prior to the custom intake, direct port kit and the larger SPL turbo. It was jetted for a 50 shot with 24#'s of boost, and drag radials. Weather was in the 80's. Since the car had no roll cage, it was not pushed hard at the track in fear of getting kicked off. But, it ran mid 11's all day while either trying to bog the launch or letting off at the top end to keep from running too fast. Bogging the launch netted 11.5 - 11.7 seconds with a best trap of 135 mph. Letting off at the end netted a best of 11.3 at 111 mph. There is much more in this setup, much, much more. On the dyno, the car has put down over 600 rwhp on pump gas at 18#'s of boost with no correction factor. In Las Vegas, with a 1.09 correction factor, it made 675 rwhp on pump gas. Best to date is 775rwhp at 28#'s of boost with no NOS or correction factor. On spray, the car has made over 870 rwhp. This is evident in the dyno sheets. All numbers can be backed up with dyno sheets or time slips. |
